The Secretary of Education of the State of Mexico dismissed the director of the Technical, Industrial and Commercial Secondary School “Doctor Jaime Torres Bodet”, located in the municipality of Cuautitlán , after allegations of sexual harassment against students, the government reported state.

In a statement, authorities detailed that the director was dismissed from the state administration and the intervention of the Internal Control Body was requested, in order to initiate an investigation, as well as of the Regional Subdirectorate to review the academic and administrative conditions of this campus.

In addition, the agency will request the intervention of the necessary instances to guarantee the emotional integrity of the students, said the Mexican government.

He added that the Ministry of Education warned that any type of conduct that seeks to damage the good performance of schools in the entity will be sanctioned without distinction.


High school students located in the Fractionation Los Morales de Cuautitlán, State of Mexico, made a complaint through social networks, in which they expose that male classmates take photographs of sexual connotation without their consent.

The young women declared that the situation also affects teachers in the school. The principal convened the entire academic community to deal with the alleged cases of harassment sexual reported.
