Manushi Chhillar, one of the most popular name over on internet from the last couple of days. India’s Manushi Chhillar, who is a medical student has own Miss World beauty pageant for the year of 2017. After 17 years the title of Miss world comes to India again. In 2000 Priyanka Chopra brought home the coveted title. Alma Andrea Meza Carmona, who is a Mexican model and representing Mexico owned the first runner-up title. South Yorkshire beauty queen Stephanie Hill was the 2nd runner-up on the list. In this contest, over 108 women participated over the world.
Ms. Chhillar, a 20-year aged lady from Haryana, studied in St. Thomas School in New Delhi and B.P Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.
According to the information provided on the website of Miss World, It confirms that Chhillar wants to be a cardiac surgeon and has plans of opening free (non-paid) hospitals in rural areas for poor peoples.
From some other profiles over on the internet, we came to know that Ms. Chillar likes outdoor sports like scuba diving, snorkeling and bungee jumping and also she is a well trained classical dancer.
When Ms. Chhillar reaches the top 5 position, the panel asked a question “which profession she thought deserved the highest salary and why?” in question answer round. And the answer from Chhillar was mindblowing. She answered“I think a mother is the highest respect. I don’t think it just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. The mother should get the highest respect.”

Ms. Chhillar is the 6th Indian to having this pride. Reita Faria was the first Indian woman claimed this title in 1966, after that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1994, Diana Haydon in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1999 and Ms. Chopra in 2000.
Winner of 2016 and former Miss World Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle passed the Miss World crown to Ms.Chhillar.
