The Secretary of Health of Coahuila (SS) reported that this Saturday the first death from coronavirus was registered (COVID – 19) in the entity, in addition to the fact that eight new cases of this disease were confirmed, so it rises to 23 the number of infected.

Regarding the deceased, the agency did not give details of the victim, however, he explained that he was a patient who tested positive for this virus in the municipality of Monclova.
About the eight new cases, it was detailed that seven of them are from Monclova and that it occurred due to local contagion, while one more is from Saltillo, who had contact with a person from abroad.
The new patients are in home isolation and under surveillance protocols, indicated the SS, which updated the information at 19: 00 hours.
The secretariat stressed that the 23 cases of coronavirus are distributed as follows: seven in Torreón, one discharged; six in Saltillo and 10 in Monclova, where the death was.
Likewise, the Coahuila government reminds families of the importance of taking shelter at home, trying not to go out, only doing it if it is strictly necessary and if any of the symptoms appear go to the nearest health unit or dial 911.
If any citizen returns from abroad, they must report their income to the state, also to 911 to punctually follow up and if necessary, apply the confirmatory test.
